Biography

Kathryn has been practicing nursing for over 20 years and has been an oncology nurse practitioner for over 15 years. She graduated with honors from Michigan State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working in an oncology unit, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 1999. She later received a Post Master’s Certificate in women’s health from Frontier Nursing University in 2014. She is dual board certified in oncology and in women’s health. Kathryn has an extensive background in oncology, having practiced in medical oncology from prevention to survivorship care, and bone marrow transplant.

Kathryn is a member of Oncology Nursing Society. Her special interests are breast cancer, blood disorders and survivorship care.
